WINTER GREETINGS . . .

With the new year I begin my role as Sunday School Superintendent.  I'm looking forward to planning some new and exciting events for the children this year.  With your help we can make this a memorable year.

I will be asking for input on some of the ideas that I have.  Any advice you have is welcomed.  If any of the classes or parents have any questions or concerns don't be afraid to get in touch with me through the church office.

At the present time the Sunday School is looking for teachers for the preschool and kindergarten classes.  You would teach on a rotating basis with other teachers or you could serve as a substitute when one of the other teachers is unable to attend.  Please let me know if you are interested.

Miss Brenda
(Middle School)

I teach the Middle School class here at Grace.  My husband, Rev. Jay, is  the pastor and together we enjoy serving the Lord!  Each Sunday the class meets to hear from God through His Word.  We read, discuss, act out, and play games that relate to the subject.  We're also trying to memorize important things like the books of the Bible, the Ten Commandments, the Lord's Prayer, and the 23rd Psalm, which will remain with us all of our lives.  As it says in the book of James, we seek to draw closer to God and to each other.  We're like a family!  Come join us!

Miss Penny
(High School/Young Adult)

I am a devoted wife and mother to my husband and son.  I have been attending Grace Church since about age three when I started in the Nursery Program and became a confirmed member at age fifteen.  My personal family history at Grace Church began with my mother, Jean, who attended Grace Church as a child and became a confirmed member in her teenage years.  I am employed by the Dorchester County Health Department, which enables me to serve the public through several state and federally funded programs.  I currently lead the Sr. High and College Sunday School class at Grace Church and have been blessed with a wonderful and amazing group of young adult participants.
